Amen is a Christian prayer and Scripture companion. We built it to be private by design: there is no account, and your personal spiritual data never leaves your device.
Information we collect
We do not collect personal information. Amen has no user accounts and no servers that store your data. Everything you create in the app — your prayer journal, journal entries, daily journey and streak, prayer-bead counts, reading-plan progress, and settings — is stored only on your device (in the app’s local storage).
Location
Location access is optional. If you allow it, your location is used only on your device to calculate the daily prayer hours and the liturgical times for where you are. Your location is never stored on a server, never shared, and never used for advertising. You can turn it off at any time and instead choose a city manually.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, they are scheduled as local notifications on your device. No notification data is sent to us or any third party.
Purchases
Amen offers a free trial and an optional subscription. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information. Apple’s handling of your purchase is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
Analytics & advertising
Amen contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking. We do not build a profile of you and we do not track you across apps or websites.
Children
Amen is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
