1. The app
Amen is a Christian prayer and Scripture companion offering a daily office of prayer hours, a Bible reader, prayer journal, prayer beads, guided devotions and meditations, reading plans, and related devotional tools. You may choose a tradition (Catholic, Orthodox, or Protestant) that shapes the content.
2. Devotional use
Amen is provided for personal devotional and informational use. Its content is presented with care and respect but is not a doctrinal ruling and does not represent any church or authority. Prayer hours, the direction of prayer, and liturgical dates are calculated and are approximate; they may differ from your parish or other sources.
3. Free trial & subscription
Amen includes a 5-day free trial during which all features are unlocked. After the trial, continued access to premium features requires a subscription (monthly or yearly). Subscriptions are auto-renewing: payment is charged to your Apple App Store account at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Any unused portion of a free period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
4. Content & intellectual property
Scripture passages shipped with the app are taken from public-domain translations (the World English Bible and the King James Version). The app’s design, original text, and software are the property of the developer and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
5. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Amen is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
6. Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised terms.
